TS Proofer was founded in 2007 by Kirk Lyford, the award-winning creator of Test Strip, Metamorphosis, 20/20 Color MD, and SkinTune.
Kirk Lyford started his professional career as a graphic designer working for such prestigious clients as Honda and Suzuki.
His introduction to computers began in 1984, while working on an ad campaign for a Macintosh software developer. Kirk's transition to software took another turn when he created a golf statistics program, which was later used on the LPGA Tour.
In 1994, Kirk Lyford founded Vivid Details, Inc., which helped ignite the online stock photo craze. In 1997, Kirk created the plug-in Test Strip, and has since won numerous awards for his innovative software. In 2007, PhotoTune Software was aquired by OnOne Software of Portland, Oregon. Kirk has been published widely, and is an inventor, having been granted U.S. Patent #7,054,484 for the technology used in 20/20 Color MD.
